Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use this website and our matching service. By using the site you accept them. R&D Tax Credit Specialists is the trading name of an unincorporated UK business, referred to here as “we” or “us”.

What service do we provide?

We provide a free introduction service that matches businesses with independent R&D tax specialists on our panel. We do not prepare, submit or review R&D claims and we do not give tax, legal or financial advice.

Who is responsible for advice?

Any firm you appoint is responsible for its own advice and work under its own terms of engagement. Your contract is with that firm, not with us. Your company remains responsible for its tax returns and claims.

Is the information on this site advice?

No. Our guides are general information, checked against official sources at the date shown, but rules change and every company's facts differ. Do not rely on the site alone when making a claim.

How are we paid?

Our matching service is free for businesses. Specialist firms on our panel pay us a fee when we introduce a business to them. That fee does not change the price a firm quotes you, and you are never obliged to appoint anyone we introduce.

What is our liability?

We take care to introduce firms that meet our panel criteria, but we do not guarantee the work of any firm or the outcome of any claim. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from advice given or work done by a firm you appoint, or from reliance on general information on this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

What are your responsibilities?

Please give accurate information in your enquiry and only submit details you are entitled to share. Do not misuse the site or the form.

Who owns the content?

The content on this site belongs to us unless stated otherwise. You may quote short extracts with a link back.

Which law applies?

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any rights you have to bring proceedings in Scotland or Northern Ireland.
