Qualifying project: Creating an eco-friendly version of an existing product.

Our client was approached by a customer to create an eco-friendly version of an existing product.

This project was assigned to one specific member of staff at the firm to research new eco-friendly materials, test and resolve any quality/technical issues.  Upon the successful delivery of this innovation the firm were able to expand their eco-friendly range. 

Claim amount received: £120,000

The firm were able to make an R&D claim on the materials purchased and the employees time to deliver this project. 

R&D key fact: On this occasion the outcome of the project was positive and the product was launched but actually the project didn’t need to be successfully delivered in order to make the claim.
